# The tender notice page (Tender Detail)

> A tender notice in Tender Navigator, opened from the Pre-search tool as a side panel or on its own page, shows the notice's title, buyer country, language, publication date, deadline, estimated budget when stated, source system, external ID, classification codes, an AI summary and the description. Visitors see the description and AI blocks locked behind a free account.

## Two ways to open a notice

- **Side panel.** In the dashboard Pre-search tool, **Open** on a result shows the notice beside the results. The panel's **Open full page** button opens the notice page in a new tab.
- **Notice page.** Every notice has its own address, reached from the public search page, from the side panel, or from a link someone sent you. The page has a breadcrumb back to the search.

## What a notice shows

| Field | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Title** | The notice title as published. |
| **Buyer country** | The country of the contracting authority. |
| **Language** | The language the notice is published in. |
| **Publication date** | When the notice was published at the source. |
| **Deadline** | The submission deadline as published. |
| **Estimated budget** | Shown only when the notice states a budget; absent otherwise. |
| **Source** | The procurement system the notice came from, for example TED or SAM.gov. |
| **External ID** | The notice's identifier on that source system. |
| **CPV / NAICS / UNSPSC** | The classification codes the notice carries, as chips. |
| **AI summary** | A short AI-generated overview. See [The AI summary](/knowledge-base/ai-summary). |
| **Description** | The full text of the opportunity as ingested. |

Dates and codes are shown as the source published them. Tender Navigator cleans stray punctuation from descriptions but does not rewrite them. When a field is not in the notice, it is omitted or shown as a dash; see [Why some tender fields are missing](/knowledge-base/missing-tender-fields).

## Visitors versus signed-in users

Everyone can open a notice page. A visitor sees the header fields and the AI summary; the full description, the source and the AI evaluation blocks are shown blurred with a **Create free account** call to action. A signed-in user with an active plan sees the full description and gets **Save as Filter** and **Evaluate** on the notice.

## Finding the original notice

For a notice opened from the Pre-search tool, Tender Navigator shows the **Source** system and the **External ID**, which together identify the notice on the source platform. A direct **Open original tender** link is available on evaluated results, in the Tender Info panel and on list rows. ## Actions

- **Save as Filter** creates a paused filter seeded from this notice: its title as the keyword, its buyer country and its codes. See [Turning a search into a filter](/knowledge-base/save-search-as-filter).
- **Evaluate** explains that evaluation happens through filters and offers Save as Filter.
- **Close** (panel) returns to the results, which are still where you left them.

## Loading

A first open generates the AI summary, so it can take several seconds; a repeat open of the same notice is fast. If the notice cannot be loaded, the panel says "Tender Navigator could not load this notice. The service may be busy." and offers a retry. "This tender notice is no longer available" means the notice is gone from the database.
