How often tender data and evaluations are updated
Tender Navigator evaluates every active filter daily and updates its Market Insights figures daily from the tender database. A Pre-search query reads the database live at the moment you search. Tender Navigator does not publish a refresh schedule per source platform.
Last updated
What happens on a schedule
| What | How often | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Filtering and AI evaluation | Daily, for every active filter on every plan | Confirmed by the backend team. The first results after activating a filter usually arrive within a day. |
| Digest emails | Daily or weekly, per filter, at the time you set | The schedule moves the email only; evaluation still runs daily. |
| Market Insights figures | Daily | The page shows the date of the last update. |
| Pre-search results | Live | Each search reads the tender database at that moment. |
| AI summary of a notice | On first open | Generated once per notice and reused. |
What is not published
Tender Navigator does not publish how often each source platform is read or how long a notice takes to appear in the database after it is published at the source. Different portals publish on different rhythms, and the figure varies by platform. If you need to know whether a specific notice is in the database yet, search for its title or external ID in the Pre-search tool.
Active tenders
The Pre-search tool searches tenders that are currently active, meaning their status at the source is open. Tenders whose deadline has passed drop out of search results as their status changes; evaluated results and saved lists keep the tenders you already have.
Deadlines and dates
Dates come from the source platform as published. Tender Navigator displays them; it does not adjust them. See Tender data and the original source.
If results seem stale
- A filter created today produces its first results after the next daily run, not immediately.
- A paused filter produces nothing until it is switched on.
- The Results page opens on the last seven days; widen the range to see older evaluations.
- The digest email arrives on the filter's schedule, which can be a day or a week after the evaluation. See No email notification received.

- No email notification receivedWhy a Tender Navigator digest email may not have arrived: the filter is paused or new, the schedule has not come round, nothing was evaluated, the email went to spam, the account address is wrong, or the filter's evaluations are stuck.
