Changing the interface language
The Tender Navigator website and dashboard are available in English and German. The language follows your browser until you choose one with the language switcher in the header or the dashboard topbar; the choice is remembered in that browser. Navigation, forms, messages, dates, numbers and the Knowledge Base follow the chosen language. Tender titles and descriptions, AI evaluations and summaries, the Release Notes, the legal documents and emails are not translated.

Two languages
The website and the dashboard are available in English and German (Deutsch).
How the language is chosen
- The first time you open Tender Navigator, it follows the language of your browser: German for a German browser, English for everything else.
- Once you choose a language yourself, that choice wins and is remembered in the browser you made it in.
The choice is stored in the browser, not in your account. On another device or browser, choose it once more.
Where the switcher is
- On the website: the globe with the language code (EN or DE) in the header. On a phone it is inside the menu, and it is also at the bottom of every page.
- In the dashboard: the same globe in the topbar, next to the Platform tour button.
Choose English or Deutsch. The page reloads in the new language at the same address, so you stay where you were. Save a form you are editing before switching: a reload discards edits that were not saved.
What follows the language
- Navigation, headings, buttons, forms, hints, validation and error messages, confirmation dialogs and notifications.
- Dates, numbers, amounts and percentages. In German a deadline reads "24. Sept. 2026" and a number "1.250"; in English "Sep 24, 2026" and "1,250".
- Country and language names.
- The platform tour: its voice and its captions.
- The Knowledge Base: every article, the categories and the search. A German reader gets the German edition automatically, at the same address. Search engines, the Markdown edition of each article and llms.txt stay in English.
What stays as it is
- Tender data. Titles, descriptions, buyer names and documents are shown in the language the buyer published them in.
- AI output. The AI evaluation of a result and the AI summary of a notice are shown as they were produced. Changing the interface language does not re-evaluate anything.
- What you wrote. Filter names, prompts, keywords, list names and notes, and your Business Profile.
- Exports. Files exported from My Lists keep English column names, so a spreadsheet built on them keeps working.
- The Release Notes and the legal documents are in English. For the legal documents the English text is the binding one.
- Emails, including the tender digest.
Nothing about your filters or their evaluation depends on the interface language.
