The platform tour in Tender Navigator
The platform tour is a narrated demonstration that operates Tender Navigator for you: it runs a live search, opens a tender, builds and switches on a temporary example filter, and shows AI-evaluated results on labelled example data. It has captions, can be paused or left at any moment, and removes everything it created.

What the tour is
The platform tour is a demonstration you watch rather than a set of instructions you follow. After one click on Start Platform Tour, the tour moves between the pages by itself, types into the real search form, presses the real buttons and waits for the real answers, while a narrator explains each step in the interface language, English or German. A virtual cursor shows what is being pressed, the part of the page being explained is lit, and the rest is dimmed.
The full tour takes about nine minutes and covers, in order: the Overview, the Pre-search tool, a tender notice, Filters and Results.
The five tours

The four shorter tours are the same steps as the full tour, so a page tour never says something different from the full one.
Starting a tour
- Platform tour button. The topbar of every dashboard page has a Platform tour button (a compass icon; the label appears on wider screens). It opens a dialog with Start Platform Tour and a Play button for each page tour. The same entry sits in the account menu.
- On the page. The Overview offers the full tour; the Pre-search tool, the Filters page and the Results page each offer their own. One run or one dismissal retires the offer, and a quiet "Replay" control stays in its place.
- After signing up or upgrading. On the first visit after the email confirmation on Basic, and right after a confirmed purchase or upgrade, the Overview offers the full tour once. "Maybe later" dismisses the offer for good.
A tour needs a signed-in account with a confirmed email address and an active plan (the Basic plan is free), and it waits until the cookie banner has been answered. If the page you are on has unsaved changes, the dialog asks you to save or discard them first, because the tour moves between pages.
Sound and captions
The narration is spoken, and every sentence is also shown as a caption in the tour panel at the bottom of the screen, in step with the voice. Every tour starts with sound. Above the tours, the dialog has a Narration choice with two options: Captions and sound (the default) and Captions only. The choice applies to the tour you start from the dialog, and the dialog opens on Captions and sound every time. A tour started from a page's own offer, from its Replay control or from the offer after a subscription always starts with sound. Mute and Unmute turn the voice off or on for the tour that is running; the next tour starts with sound again. Replay tour at the end starts the same tour again the way it ended, with or without sound. The tour keeps the same pace either way. If the audio cannot be played, the panel shows "Captions only" and the tour carries on in text. With the interface in German the narrator and the captions are German, and the tour takes about eleven minutes.
Controlling the tour
The panel shows where you are, for example "Search Tool - Step 6 of 32", and has these controls:

While the tour runs, the page underneath does not react to clicks or to the keyboard, so a stray click cannot change anything; the panel answers with a reminder instead. Moving to another tab pauses the tour and coming back resumes it. If you use the browser's Back button, the tour stops and offers Continue tour.
What the tour does in your account
- The search is real. It is the same live search you would run yourself, so the tenders on screen are whatever is open that day. Nothing is saved.
- One temporary example filter. The Filters part creates a filter named "IT services tenders (tour example XXXXXX)", always paused at first, with its evaluation limit set to 0. It is switched on only if your plan has a free active-filter slot; otherwise the switch is explained instead of pressed. The tour deactivates and deletes the filter before moving on.
- Example results. The Results part shows three example tenders under a "Tour example data" banner, each titled "Example:". They are not written to your account and they disappear when the tour ends.
If the tour is exited half way, closed, refreshed or cut off by a lost connection, the example filter is still removed: the next time the dashboard loads it finishes the clean-up, and a message says the tour was interrupted. A filter you created yourself is never touched, and neither is an example filter you have renamed.
When something does not answer
If the live search fails or returns nothing, the tour says so and offers three choices: Retry search, Continue with example data (clearly labelled example tenders, shown only if you choose them) or Exit tour. If a tender will not open, the tour goes back to the results and opens the next one; if none opens, it says so and moves on. If the example filter cannot be saved, the tour explains that part instead of showing it. If several steps in a row cannot be shown, the tour stops rather than narrate over a page that is not responding.
When the tour ends
The closing panel confirms that everything the tour created has been removed and offers Create my first filter, Start a search, Replay tour and Close. Which tours you have watched is stored on your account, so a tour finished on a laptop is not offered again on a phone. Replaying a tour never resets anything else.
