Tender data and the original source
The original notice on the procurement platform is always the source of truth for a tender. Tender Navigator holds a copy for searching and evaluation, shows every notice's source system and external ID, and links evaluated results directly to the original. Deadlines, eligibility and documents must be checked at the source before bidding.

The rule
A tender is published by a contracting authority on a procurement platform. That publication, with its documents, corrections and clarifications, is the record. Tender Navigator ingests the notice into its database so that it can be searched and evaluated, and shows the fields it holds. When the two differ, the source is right.
Practically:
- Check the deadline at the source before planning a bid. A source can extend or shorten it after Tender Navigator ingested the notice.
- Check eligibility, lots, documents and clarifications at the source. Tender Navigator does not ingest attachments.
- Treat the AI summary and the AI evaluation as reading aids over the notice text, never as a substitute for it.
Finding the original

What Tender Navigator changes, and does not
- It cleans stray punctuation and formatting from descriptions so they read well. It does not rewrite, translate or shorten them (translation applies only to your filter keywords, when enabled).
- It shows dates as published. It does not adjust or validate them; a date that looks wrong at the source looks wrong in Tender Navigator too. See Tender data differs from the original source.
- It shows a budget only when the notice states one, in the notice's own currency.
- It keeps a tender you evaluated or saved even after the source closes it, so your results and lists remain a record of what you looked at.
Reporting a discrepancy
If a notice in Tender Navigator differs from the source in a way that matters, send the External ID, the source and what differs through the Support page.
