How filter digest emails work

Each active filter in Tender Navigator sends a digest email with its recent evaluated tenders on a schedule you set per filter: Daily or Weekly, on a chosen day and time in UTC, under a subject line you choose. Evaluation itself runs daily regardless; the schedule only decides when the email goes out.

One digest per filter

Every active filter sends its own digest email to the email address on your account. The digest covers the tenders that filter recently evaluated and links to them in Tender Navigator, where the verdict and reasoning are shown. A paused filter sends nothing.

Setting the schedule

The schedule lives in the filter editor under Notifications & schedule:

  • Email subject. The subject line of this filter's emails. Use it to tell filters apart in your inbox.
  • Frequency. Daily or Weekly. Both are available on every plan, and a new filter starts on Daily.
  • Day of week. For a weekly digest.
  • Time (UTC). The time of day the email is sent, on the hour or half hour, in UTC.

Filtering and AI evaluation happen daily whatever you choose; the frequency only controls when results are delivered to you. See Creating and editing a filter.

Links in a digest open the Results page in the dashboard with that email's filter and dates already applied, so you land on the tenders the email covers. If you are signed out, sign in when asked. Older emails may use an older link format; Tender Navigator still forwards those to the right page.

When to expect the first digest

After activating a filter, the first evaluated tenders usually arrive within a day and the first digest follows on the filter's schedule. A weekly filter activated on a Tuesday with Monday as its day sends its first email the following Monday, even though its results are already visible on the Results page from the first daily run.

Where the digest goes

Digests go to the account's email address only; there is no second recipient. See Managing your account to change the address. A paused filter sends no digest.
